We are delighted to say that the picture frame has now been completely rebuilt, restoring this important feature of the World War Remembrance Garden. Following the discovery that the original timber frame had deteriorated beyond repair, a replacement was needed to ensure the garden remained both safe and visually appealing.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to H. Bell & Sons Ltd – Joiners, who generously gave their time, expertise and craftsmanship to manufacture the new frame to an exceptionally high standard. We are also extremely grateful to Jewson, who kindly donated the timber needed for the project. Thanks to their generosity and support, this much-loved feature has been restored and will continue to provide a fitting focal point within the Remembrance Garden for visitors to enjoy for many years to come.
