The greening grey project we really couldn’t resist. A forgotten piece of private land in the Bagslate area of Norden had been left to grow wild for many years. After a quick conversation with sponsor H Bell & Sons, they found out who owned the land and worked out a deal so that we could adopt it and give it a fitting clean up.
Together we’ve started to turn it into a calming green oasis for the local residents, school children and passers-by. The old house behind was named Green Mount back in the day and so to keep a bit of history we gave the project the same name.
