Ash dieback disease
This disease is rapidly infecting many ash trees across the country. Over time this disease will eliminate approximately 95% of the common ash tree in the United Kingdom.
Some signs of ash dieback disease (see images for examples);

- not fully coming into leaf
- leaves develop dark patches in the summer
- have prolific epicormic shoots (shoots produced from previously dormant buds below the bark)
