Denehurst Park is blossoming into a well visited community park as it nears the end of its 3 year transformation period.
Well loved by the North West in Bloom judges last year, the Rochdale in Bloom team has chosen it as their park entry into this year’s campaign. The park will receive an hour long visit by the judges this July where they will take in the new landscape features including the Monet bridges, as well as the herbaceous garden, stumpery, wildflower meadow and the new play area.
The friends group and council aim to wow the judges with the amount of community involvement from local schools and residents and hope to add a new award to this Green Flag winning park.
