Moss Row Community Allotments has operated as a council owned but self-managed site since 2006. There is a current waiting list of 60 people with 5-10 enquiries each year.

Early in 2019 they welcomed several new tenants to the allotments. These included families with young children who like to visit and become involved in gardening. The mix of age groups has made the allotment community more diverse with the younger ones bringing new ideas. There is a mentoring system for novice gardeners to prevent them from becoming overwhelmed.

Funding was granted in 2018 to construct a semi-permanent Gazebo which is now in situ providing shelter from both rain and sun. Working parties take place monthly where plot holders meet to maintain the site, wildlife and communal areas. The attendance for these has increased as it has become a social gathering including refreshments.

School children continue to visit and the site hosts open days in August.
