The Tour of Britain came straight through Rochdale for the first time in September 2019. To mark the event we worked with local groups to create a new display to cheer on the riders and show our support.
We collected old bikes that were beyond repair, painted them the colour of the winner’s green jersey, and planted them up along a section of the route.
