Zen Internet take a lot of pride in their grounds and are pleased that they are enjoyed by staff and visitors alike.
On a sunny day the benches all around the pond are occupied by people taking in the views and tranquil atmosphere.The grounds are visited by different types of wildlife throughout the year including geese, moor hens, heron, coy carp, ducks and more recently a fawn is making a regular appearance.
Zen Internet work with the local community by sponsoring a different charity every year, voted for by Zen staff.
In 2018, they raised £15k for homelessness charity Petrus, exceeding their target. Within the community, they’ve worked with groups such as Rochdale Circle (a group which helps local residents enjoy a flourishing, independent later life) where they held a Q&A about the internet and ran a hands-on technology surgery. They also work with local schools where Zen volunteers set up self-sustaining coding clubs and build students’ enthusiasm for software development.
Zen is an incredibly green company and boasts a recycling figure getting very close to the 100% mark. Consistently voted the best internet provider nationally, they have also been voted as one of the best places to work in the UK.
