Early morning start today to tidy up our Rochdale In Bloom WW1 Memorial Garden in Rochdale Town Centre, next to the cenotaph, in preparation for VE Day 80 commemorations this Thursday
Plenty of cutting back, cleaned signs and tidying done to ensure it remains a peaceful, respectful place for those wishing to pay tribute over the coming days.
We’ve also recently added poppies to the garden – a thoughtful reference to the Royal British Legion symbol of remembrance, honouring all those who served and sacrificed.
Huge thanks, as always, to our #InBloom supporters H Bells & Sons for their continued help and for brightening the space with fresh seasonal planting.
