Support Rochdale In Bloom

Our Hanging Basket Sponsorship Scheme, launched in 2024, gives local businesses a simple and meaningful way to support Rochdale In Bloom while helping to brighten up the town.

Businesses can choose to:

  • Display a sponsored basket outside their premises, or
  • Donate a basket to a local charity, community group, or voluntary organisation

A great example from last year saw Willmott Dixon kindly donate their basket to the Oasis Suite at Rochdale Hospital, bringing colour and warmth to the space.

🌼 Growing Community Support

Thanks to fantastic local backing:

  • Our 2024 target of 10 baskets was fully achieved
  • For 2025, the target increased to 20 — all secured within just three days
  • An additional 10 baskets were added, which also sold out quickly
  • We now have a waiting list for future sponsorships

🌱 Where Your Support Goes

All funds raised are placed into a community fund, supporting:

  • Local voluntary projects
  • In Bloom groups across Rochdale
